 Established in 2022, Hokkaido Vibe is a community-driven organisation fuelled by a passion for outdoor adventure and a deep connection to the stunning natural environment that surrounds us.

Our crew consists of seasoned mountain professionals with extensive experience in skiing, snowboarding, and mountain guiding. We live and breathe the Niseko lifestyle, combining expert skills, unique styles, and a deep understanding of the local terrain to craft exceptional mountain experiences.

Whether you’re carving on the groomed slopes or floating effortlessly through the powder in the backcountry, we’re here to guide you in finding your own Hokkaido Vibe.

 Mick, the founder of Asobi Master®, an outdoor adventure company in Hokkaido, Japan, developed a love for nature early in life.

Influenced by family trips and formative experiences like leading wilderness canoe trips at 15, he dedicated his career to outdoor recreation. He earned a Wilderness Education Association instructor certification in 2002 and a master's in Leisure Studies. His diverse background includes working with US Navy MWR as the "Fun Boss" and running outdoor programs for military personnel in the Tohoku region.

 Co-Founded by Ben Harding & Chris Holmes, Niseko Black was formed in 2010 as a Luxury Travel and Concierge company with the aim of using their network of high-end clientele and word of mouth to provide exceptional inbound concierge services.

Niseko Black Snowsports was opened in 2012 and Niseko Black Property Management in 2018, led by the need for additional services that would be delivered at the same exceptional standard as the Niseko Black Concierge services.

The Niseko Black ethos is to listen to our client's needs, innovate, and then evolve in order to be at the forefront of Accommodation, Snow Sports,  Luxury Concierge and Property Management in Niseko.

 After ten years of working as a ski guide in between Canada and New Zealand, I found myself living in Tokyo, married to my wife Toshie. A desire to be back working in the mountains prompted a search to find the most ideal ski location for a guiding business. Fifteen years ago, we packed up a van and departed Tokyo for Hokkaido, lured by the constant precipitation and deep snow. Over the years, we have seen Hokkaido go from somewhat of an unknown, to a popular ski destination. We strive to keep ahead of the game, and to provide an unparalleled ski product.
