Our goals are simple:

1. Create an association that allows all members equal opportunity to express their concerns, opinions and ideas on helping shape outdoor tourism in Japan. By self policing we will be able to create our own set of standards. 


2. Create an environment for members  to increase their quality of guiding, instructing and safety in outdoor tourism by creating continuous education and learning through courses and dialogue. 


3. Help put an end to the illegal guiding and instructing that is running rampant in Japan. Not only does it give foreigners a bad image but it also creates a more difficult and dangerous working environment for the businesses that operate within the law. 


The more businesses that join together, the stronger our voice will become. We are at a major turning point right now for tourism in Japan. Let’s lead by example!
